What is the approval process?
To be eligible for tuition reimbursement, employees must choose courses or majors related to their field and our shared industry. They must also take classes at approved and accredited colleges, universities, trade schools, or correspondence schools. These requirements apply to both degree and non-degree courses.
Employees must obtain pre-approval before enrolling or beginning a program to avoid incurring expenses that are not reimbursable.
Tuition Reimbursement Request Form(s) should be submitted to your manager at least sixty days before the course start date.
How do I request reimbursement?
Employees may request reimbursement for eligible expenses (as described in one of the above FAQs) after completing a course with a grade of “C” or better or “Pass” in a Pass/Fail course.
We will not reimburse expenses if the employee doesn’t meet the grade requirement.
What is the maximum amount ConGlobal will reimburse me?
Employees may be reimbursed for eligible expense up to a maximum of $5,250 per calendar year for approved courses for a degree or costs for a non-degree college course.
We base the annual maximum on the year we receive the reimbursement, regardless of when the employee completes the course.
Is there a deadline for reimbursement?
We require employees to submit their reimbursement requests no later than 60 days from the end of the course, as indicated on the reimbursement request. Reimbursement requests submitted 60 days beyond the end of the course are not eligible for reimbursement.
ConGlobal has an annual payroll deadline for submitting requests within the same calendar year. We will process requests submitted after that date in the next calendar year.
The deadline is generally early December, and the specific date is based on the employee’s assigned pay group. Employees are responsible to contact Human Resources for the exact deadline date.
Employees are responsible for submitting requests per that deadline to maximize their annual benefit maximums and taxability status regardless of when they take the courses.
We base the annual maximum on the year we receive the reimbursement request, regardless of when the employee completes the course.
Will ConGlobal require me to repay any of my reimbursements?
When ConGlobal approves an employee for tuition reimbursement, they must sign a Tuition Repayment Agreement. A provision in that agreement states that employees who voluntarily separate employment from ConGlobal must repay amounts received for tuition reimbursement.
Employees must acknowledge the Tuition Repayment Agreement and the Submit Agreement, which specify a repayment schedule required should an employee voluntarily terminate their employment.

Under this provision ConGlobal may withhold this repayment from and employee’s final paycheck (base salary, bonuses, vacation pay, and/or expense reimbursements) to the extent permitted by applicable laws up to the amount due for any tuition reimbursement ConGlobal paid in the above timeframes.
